Youth Leadership Development Programs
Leadership skills are pivotal for success on and off the field - whether it is the ability to lead a team through adversity, setting a positive example or motivating and rallying individuals around a cause. At GLBA, we believe in the principle that leadership is more than giving directions; leadership is about one life influencing another.
Our Leadership Programs provide (and reward) young adults with opportunities to be positive role models to others.

The Youth Leadership Development Program (Y.L.D.P) provides high school players interested in learning the theory and practice of coaching the opportunity to work alongside G.L.B.A Senior Staff Members. In this role, the high school players serve as counselors to small groups of younger players. As the Y.L.D.P. counselors gain self confidence they will also gain more responsibilities.

The Community Leadership Award recognizes the efforts of two graduating high school senior players who have given of themselves to help the greater community.
